The fine wine index, tracked the valuable wines from this wine-growing region.

The wines have been covered in this index since 1996-01-01 and started with as much as the German DAX index at 2.285 points.

The CHAM-I, the leading wine index from Champagne, includes the most traded 50 fine wines and had been released together with the leading index of the German stock exchange on 1996-01-01 with a then fixed score of 2.285.

The CHAM-I was closed with 68.295 points and a minus of -117 points at Friday the 2022-10-14.

On Tuesday 2022-10-11, the Champagne wine index reached at a previous score of 68.412 points.

The wine index from Champagne CHAM-I fell about -0,17 % or -117 points.

One of the reasons for this performance was the Dom Perignon – Vintage 1998 vintage. The fine wine was traded at Sterlin Wine Auctions Perth.

One bottle obtained a wine price of 235,00 € per 750 ml bottle and therefore a negative slope of -4,08 % calculated in money -10,00 €. In the previous auction on 2022-09-28 at Sterlin Wine Auctions , one bottle of the 1998 Dom Perignon – Vintage was purchased from a wine investor for 245,00 €.

On Tuesday 2022-10-11, the Australia Wine Index recorded a penultimate score of 23.309 points.

One Penfolds Grange was sold for 419,00 €. With a a surcharge of +23,24 % or 79,00 €.

In the the last but one auction on 2022-09-28 at Sterlin Wine Auctions , one bottle of 1992 Penfolds Grange was sold for 340,00 €.
