The organisers of the Langtons Wine Auction wine auction have hailed growing demand for high-end wines from all over the world, as this month event achieved record prices.

Thursday 2021-08-26 at Langtons Wine Auction, one wine bottle of Haut Brion vintage 1998 in a size 750 ml, got a new wine investor for 698,56 €. The price climbed until 698,56 € per 750 ml bottle and reached the second maximum wine price in this fine wine auction.

A 2014th Guigal Cote Rotie la Turque in a 750 ml wine bottle, maintained with a fine wine value of 412,17 € and was able to set a new record price. This corresponds to a total performance of 25,17 € or +6,50 %.

A bottle of 2015 Mascarello Giuseppe Barolo Monprivato in a 750 ml bottle, maintained with a value of 208,21 € and set a all time high price. This corresponds to a total price increase of 104,75 € or +101,25 %.

During this trading day the highest part of the range of wines of 43,38 % came from the fine wine region of Australia-SA. 1.189 bottles came from Australia-SA into the wine auction. The winery Penfolds from Australia-SA were most popular.

With a total of 9,16 % or 251 wine bottles it was set on the first place in popularity by wine lovers. The most wanted single wine was the 2016 Hardys - Shiraz in a 750 ml bottle.

One wine bottle Krug - Clos d'Ambonnay vintage 2002 in a 750 ml wine bottle changed hands for 2.025,16 € per unit.

The wine with the second best wine value was the 1970th Penfolds - Grange. One bottle was sold and reached a wine auction price of 1.247,56 € per 750 ml bottles.

Third rank in wine price value reached a Penfolds Grange from the vintage 1964 with a wine value of 1.081,84 € for a 750 ml bottle.
