Friday 2020-12-18 trading day at Hart Davis Hart Wine Auction, six wine bottles of Domaine de la Romanee Conti – La Tache vintage 1999 in a size 750 ml, were sold off for 6.333,33 €.

In an exciting bidding fight the fine wine price climbed until 6.333,33 € per 750 ml wine bottle and reached a new wine maximum price.

Since the last wine price on the 2020-12-05 at Christies Wine Auctions HK which realized a wine value of 4.456,00 €, the current appreciation is 1.877,33 € or +42,13 %.

The organisers of the Hart Davis Hart Wine Auction wine auction have hailed growing demand for high-end wines from all over the world, as this month event achieved record prices.

Six wine bottles 2009 Armand Rousseau – Chambertin were auctioned and achieved a all-time high price of 2.500,00 € per 750 ml bottle.

Thus the Armand Rousseau – Chambertin received a price increase of +48,20 % or 813,09 €.

2011 Domaine de la Romanee Conti – Richebourg in a 750 ml bottle, maintained with a fine wine price of 2.000,00 € and was able to set a wine price record.

This corresponds to a total appreciation of 474,00 € or +31,06 %.

2004 Leroy – Gevrey Chambertin in a 750 ml wine bottle, came up with a price of 1.900,00 € and set a all time high price.

This corresponds to a total performance of 211,37 € or +12,52 %.

Wine funds and the big wine collectors on the phones, guests and bidders at the wine tasting.

The tension of the participants was palpable, while they were led into the auction room. A total price volume of more then 7.399.099,24 €, without mixed lots, were achieved at Hart Davis Hart Wine Auction Chicago.

More then 2.398 lots were sold and the tradingvolume was 14.331, with a average fine wine value of 516,30 €.

The largest portion of the trading volume in this fine wine auction, got wine bottles from wine growing area Burgundy. Burgundy supplied 4.752 wine bottles or converted 33,16 % from all wines on that dealing day.

The wine from the winery Latour from Bordeaux was most frequently traded. 2,23 % or 320 wine bottles of the trade amount, were auctioned from this winery and thus, it was set in first place in trading volume from wine lovers.

The most popular single wine was the Leoville Poyferre .

One bottle Domaine de la Romanee Conti – La Tache vintage 1990 in a 3.000 ml bottle changed the owner for 40.000,00 € per single bottle .

The single wine, with the second most wine value was the 1865 Lafite, one bottle was traded and generated a price of 26.000,00 € per 750 ml bottle.

The single wine with the third highest wine value, was a Domaine de la Romanee Conti – Romanee Conti, 1990 vintage, with a price of 21.666,67 € for a single 750 ml wine bottle.

The most popular vintage at this fine wine auction was the 2009 vintage with 1.687 bottles. With more than 11,77 % of the total, the vintage got the first position.

The vintage 2005 set the second most trading points. 1.263 wine bottles from this vintage went to a new owner.

The vintage 2007 got the third most tradingpoints. 644 bottles from this vintage got under the hammer.
