A wine auction from Bruun Rasmussen Wineauctions on Sunday 2021-05-16. Twelve wine bottles of 2000 Vega Sicilia – Unico Gran Reserva in a container size 750 ml, was invested at for 537,50 €. With a lot of prospective the fine wine price rocked until 537,50 € per 750 ml bottle and was able to achieve this world record for wine prices. 

Since the last wine price on the 2021-04-24 at Hart Davis Hart Wine Auction in which a wine value of 262,33 € was obtained, the current price increase is at +104,89 % or 275,17 €.

One wine bottle of Kongsgaard – Chardonnay The Judge vintage 2012 in a unit 750 ml, changed the wine lover for 564,00 €.

With many interested bidders the value of the wine rose until 564,00 € per 750 ml bottle and reached the second maximum wine price in this fine wine auction. Since the last wine price on the 2021-04-08 at KL-Wines Wine Auctions which realized a wine price of 335,50 €, the momentary increase in value is 228,50 € or +68,11 %

During this wine auction the highest share of the trading volume about 46,12 % came from the fine wine region of Bordeaux. 589 wine bottles came from Bordeaux in the auction.

The second place or a converted 12,37 % of the offers came from Burgundy. 158 bottles Burgundy were sold in the fine wine auction.

The winery Mouton Rothschild from Bordeaux were most frequently traded. With a total of 4,93 % or 63 bottles it has won first place.

The usually most sought vintage at this fine wine auction was the 2015 vintage, with 136 bottles or 10,65 %, thus the vintage got the first place.

The highest worth in this auction came from Bordeaux. One wine bottle Petrus vintage 2010 in a 3.000 ml bottle changed the owner for 24.188,00 € per bottle.

The second place in maximum prices, comes from Burgundy. One wine bottle Leroy – Richebourg Vintage 2015 in a 750 ml bottle the hammer fell for 6.719,00 € per bottle.

Third rank to the topic wine prices is the Domaine de la Romanee Conti – Montrachet from the vintage 2013. This wine optained a value of 4.838,00 € for the 750 ml bottle.
